Mueller Water Products, Inc. reported net sales of $322.2 million and a net loss of $566.8 million in the quarter ended March 31, 2009, which included impairment charges of $570.9 million and restructuring charges of $42.2 million.

Net sales for the Mueller Co. segment of $114.8 million in the 2009 second quarter declined from 2008 second quarter net sales of $168.9 million.
