Emerson Process Management sales continued to strengthen and were up 5 percent in the quarter.Underlying sales increased 5 percent, acquisitions added 1 percent and unfavorable currency subtracted 1 percent. Orders strengthened in the trailing three-month period, driven by strong global positioning and technology leadership.
