Fluor Corp. has been awarded multiple contracts by BP America to provide construction management, engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction services on BP’s modernization project at its Whiting Refinery in northwest Indiana.

The modernization project will increase the Whiting facility’s gasoline production by 1.7 million gallons per day. It will also allow the refinery to process increased amounts of Canadian crude oil.
