CNOOC Refine & Petrochemical Co., Ltd. will be the new actual holder of Shenzhen-listed Shandong Haihua after it took a controlling stake in Shandong Haihua Group, the parent company of the listed Shandong Haihua, the listed company announced Monday.

According to the Shandong Haihua announcement, CNOOC Refine & Petrochemical and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Weifang City, the controller of Shandong Haihua Group signed an equity transfer agreement on Sept. 3, under which the latter will transfer a 51% stake in Shandong Haihua Group to the former.
