China will build up 21 large oil refining projects by 2010, with processing capacity exceeding 240 million tons, taking up 57% of the country's total, which will reach 420 million tons by then.

14 projects belong to China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, with an annual production capacity of more than 160 million tons.
