New York State Gas and Electric Corporation (NYSEG) has awarded Garlock Sealing Technologies a $362,000 grant to fund a portion of the company’s Palmyra modernization project, which includes a recently completed, 51,000-sq.-ft. plant for production of its GYLON® PTFE gasket materials. A state-of-the art example of energy efficiency and resource conservation, the new building marks the second major milestone in the five-year, $35 million project.
