A Redding (CA) industrial laundry will install a new $500,000 treatment system to clean its wastewater long before it gets to the city's treatment plant.

"It's a very typical system used in the industry," said Mike Scalise, director of environmental compliance for Aramark. The Philadelphia-based company has 250,000 workers and clients in 19 countries, and a facility at Butte and Sequoia streets in Redding.
