U.S. manufacturing is undergoing a ‘renaissance’ at the expense of increasingly uncompetitive emerging market economies, according to International Strategy and Investment (ISI) economist Nancy Lazar.

While this should provide a further boost to the US’ nascent economic recovery, strategists and fund managers are unconvinced the country will be able to resist being drawn into recession by the Eurozone debt crisis.
