Chemical Waste Dump Near St. Petersburg Made Safe After Weekend Blaze |

The Russian natural resources watchdog (Rosprirodnadzor) is looking at the causes and the environmental damage from the fire at the Krasny Bor chemical waste disposal area in Leningrad region last weekend.
"Everything has been made safe at the Krasny Bor site, samples were taken for laboratory tests and are currently being conducted," Rosprirodnadzor's deputy chief for the Northwestern Federal District Anna Kovtun told Interfax on Monday.
