California District's Wastewater Plant Will Run on Solar

According to the project's organizers, nearly 2,700 solar panels will be installed on eight acres of land, with the photovoltaic system fully operational sometime in July of next year. The solar panels will provide clean power for the waste water treatment plant there. The district is funding the solar undertaking with a low-interest $3.4 million loan.
