U.S., Korea Press for Trade Pact

U.S. trade negotiators in Seoul are pushing to resolve disagreements over Korea's treatment of American-made cars in time for President Barack Obama to unveil a revised U.S.-Korea free-trade agreement Thursday and deliver on a centerpiece of his postelection economic agenda.

White House officials say clinching a South Korean trade deal that can pass Congress early next year is critical to the president's effort to double U.S. exports by 2015.
