Manufacturing in U.S. Probably Grew for Fourth Straight Month

Manufacturing in the U.S. probably expanded in November for a fourth consecutive month, putting factories at the forefront of the recovery, economists said before reports today.

 

The Institute for Supply Management’s manufacturing index fell to 55 from October’s three-year high of 55.7, according to the median forecast of 72 economists surveyed by Bloomberg News.
