Manufacturing Skill Standard May Set Workers Apart

The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council, or MSSC, is an industry-led training, assessment and certification system focused on training the nation’s production workers. The nationwide MSSC system, which is based on federally-endorsed national standards, offers a Certified Production Technician credential to entry-level as well as current workers who pass four production modules: safety; quality practices and measurement; manufacturing processes and production; and maintenance awareness.
