Tyco Flow Control Awarded Contracts by China's SNPEC for Four Nuclear Reactor Projects
As the world's second largest power market, China is making a significant investment in its nuclear power infrastructure; developing the most advanced third-generation reactors and aiming to increase its wattage tenfold, adding 70 Gigawatts by 2020. Tyco Flow Control has been working with China to meet its demand for nuclear solutions, and was awarded two separate contracts to provide the critical safety valves for four state-of-the-art nuclear reactors, the first in the world installed with Westinghouse's newest AP1000 Gen3+ reactor technology.
