Two different units of Dresser Inc. have won bids to supply valves to two new Brazilian process plants. Dresser Consolidated won the contract from the Brazilian consortium Conpar, formed by engineering and construction companies Odebrecht, UTC and ITS, for the supply of 240 relief and safety valves. Also, Dresser Masoneilan will supply Braskem, the Sao Paulo-based petrochemical giant, in a contract that includes 160 control valves and 90 relief and safety valves for use in the world’s first “green” ethylene plant.
