Huge Biennial Manufacturing Show Reups Through 2016 in Chicago

Chicago labor reform is paying off, especially with the latest announcement that the Association of Manufacturing Technology’s biennial International Manufacturing Technology Show has reupped its commitment for 2012, 2014 and 2016 at the city’s McCormick Place.

During that three-year period, the show will deliver a total of more than 250,000 attendees and nearly $600 million in estimated direct expenditures to the city and state of Illinois, according to officials from the Metropolitan Pier & Exposition Authority, which oversees McCormick Place and Navy Pier.
