ROTORK: Wireless Modular Control System

rotork_pakscan_p3Pakscan P3 modular control system now offers the addition of a network card option for wireless communication with Rotork valve actuators. The wireless capability operates on the 2.4GHz frequency and has a line-of-site operating range of approximately 70 meters indoors and 1,000 meters outdoors.

It includes built-in Web pages so operators can access and extract asset management information, such as actuator data logger and configuration files without the need of having to manually download the information in the field. The new option gives users the choice of fully wired, fully wireless, or a combination of both wired and wireless capabilities. The wireless option operates on a meshing system that provides all nodes at least two routes back to the master station. If the normal traffic route is blocked, the message can be routed to along an alternate path on the network.
