Three months before the beginning of the 2008 games in Beijing, Siemens Water Technologies has started up a wastewater reuse system at the city’s Beixiaohe wastewater treatment plant. The city will use eco-friendly technologies in water/wastewater management. The goal is to process 90% of the wastewater, with 50% for recycle and reuse.
