Voorhees, NJ-based American Water, the largest investor-owned water and wastewater utility company in the United States, announced last week that its military services group has been awarded a $348 million contract for the ownership, operation and maintenance of the water and wastewater systems at Fort Polk, LA, over a 50-year period.
