The American Water Works Association recently said in its annual survey that current water/wastewater industry challenges include renewing and replacing aging infrastructure, getting funds to do the work, sourcing enough water and dealing with cyber threats. MORE  Also, though torque is commonly specified for bolt installation, tension on the bolt is often the critical factor. Depending on conditions, bolt tension at a given torque can vary considerably. Emerson Buys Steam Product Lines from Circor 

Emerson recently announced it purchased two product lines from Circor International that complement Emerson’s portfolio of steam system solutions. The Spence and Nicholson lines include steam regulators, control valves, safety relief valves, temperature regulators, steam traps and other steam accessories and solutions. Emerson says the new lines will strengthen its ability to serve customers in the growing steam segments such as automation, hospitals, universities, commercial operations and the transportation industry. MORE
