Emerson to Digitally Automate Two New Glass Plants in China

Emerson Process Management has been selected by the Zhejiang Changxing Glass Co., Ltd. and the Zhejiang Pinghu Glass Co., Ltd. to engineer and install PlantWeb® digital architecture with DeltaV™automation systems and Emerson's intelligent field devices in new glass plants in the Zhejiang Province. The projects will be the first for plantwide use of FOUNDATION fieldbus in China's glass industry.

Metso Expanding its Production Capacity in China

Metso will establish new facilities for Metso Automation’s valve factory and supply center, for automation system production, and for sales, a project unit and engineering in China. About half of the investment will be allocated to a new office and factory building. The rest will be spent on acquiring machinery and equipment and on building the factory infrastructure.
