ITT Elects Angela Buonocore and Aris Chicles Senior Vice Presidents

The Board of Directors of ITT Corporation announced that corporate vice presidents Angela Buonocore, 50, and Aris Chicles, 46, were elected senior vice presidents of the corporation.

"Since joining us, Angela and Aris have made tremendous contributions towards the strategic progress of ITT through superb leadership of their global functions," said Steve Loranger, chairman, president and chief executive officer of ITT.

Shumate Industries Updates Investors on Hemiwedge Cartridge Valve Growth

Shumate Industries announced today that its Hemiwedge Valve Corporation (HVC) division has achieved several milestones.

HVC continues discussions with other potential sale representatives in the United States, including the anticipated signing of additional companies based in the lower Midwest and Gulf Coast areas to seek further penetration in oil and gas production, process, and pipeline industries.

Mueller Water Products Reports Fiscal 2008 Second Quarter Results

Mueller Water Products, Inc. reported net sales of $421.6 million, income from operations of $28.0 million, and net income of $5.7 million, or $0.05 per diluted share, in its second quarter ended March 31, 2008. These results include cash restructuring charges of $1.5 million ($0.9 million after tax, or $0.01 per diluted share) comprised of severance and other costs in connection with the previously announced closure of U.S. Pipe's manufacturing operations in Burlington, N.J.

ATI Opens Second Facility in Houston

Automation Technology, Inc. (ATI) has opened a second facility in Northwest Houston. According to ATI President Cooper Etheridge, the expansion triples the company’s production floor space and includes a 50% increase in staff.  

The company’s original facility in Industry, TX will continue to act as the engineering and fabrication hub, while the new Houston facility will handle assembly and testing, new product development and sales. The address for the new facility is: 4950 Cranswick, Houston, TX 77041.
