New President & CEO for Festo-USA

Festo Corporation and the Festo-US employees welcome their new President and CEO, Mike Cybulski, to the Festo team. Mike joins Festo with an education in Mechanical Engineering and vast experience in Operations and Sales.

Festo is a global manufacturer of pneumatic and electromechanical systems, components and controls for industrial automation, with 56 national headquarters serving more than 180 countries.

Emerson to Digitally Automate Two New Glass Plants in China

Emerson Process Management has been selected by the Zhejiang Changxing Glass Co., Ltd. and the Zhejiang Pinghu Glass Co., Ltd. to engineer and install PlantWeb® digital architecture with DeltaV™automation systems and Emerson's intelligent field devices in new glass plants in the Zhejiang Province. The projects will be the first for plantwide use of FOUNDATION fieldbus in China's glass industry.

Metso Expanding its Production Capacity in China

Metso will establish new facilities for Metso Automation’s valve factory and supply center, for automation system production, and for sales, a project unit and engineering in China. About half of the investment will be allocated to a new office and factory building. The rest will be spent on acquiring machinery and equipment and on building the factory infrastructure.

ITT Elects Angela Buonocore and Aris Chicles Senior Vice Presidents

The Board of Directors of ITT Corporation announced that corporate vice presidents Angela Buonocore, 50, and Aris Chicles, 46, were elected senior vice presidents of the corporation.

"Since joining us, Angela and Aris have made tremendous contributions towards the strategic progress of ITT through superb leadership of their global functions," said Steve Loranger, chairman, president and chief executive officer of ITT.
