Tyco International Ltd. reported $0.41 in diluted earnings per share (EPS) from continuing operations for the fiscal third quarter of 2008 and diluted EPS from continuing operations before special items of $0.88. Diluted EPS from continuing operations was negatively impacted by special items of $0.47 per share primarily for separation-related items and restructuring activities.
