United Valve Names Jim Nelson Engineering and Production Manager

United Valve LP has promoted Jim Nelson to production and engineering manager. Nelson will be responsible for overseeing all production and engineering activities at United Valve.

“Jim Nelson has demonstrated consummate professionalism and shown his strong leadership skills, earning the respect of all of us at United Valve as well as our customers”, said Greg Johnson, United Valve president.

In Nelson’s time at United Valve he has been responsible for many critical projects for customers and end-users around the U.S. As an active participant in the American Petroleum Institute (API) standards development activities, he has worked closely with other valve engineering professionals on several different API standards, including fugitive emissions related documents API 622 & API 624. Jim has a bachelor of science degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University.
