Messe Düsseldorf will introduce a new trade fair for the Indian regional industrial valve sector with Valve World India. The first staging will take place on September 19 and 20, 2024 at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai. It will be geared towards all players from the oil, gas, energy, petrochemical, water and wastewater sectors and will be the Indian satellite of the established Valve World Expo trade fair, held every two years in Düsseldorf, Germany. Valve World Expo will be jointly organized by Messe Düsseldorf India and its partner Global Flow Control.

In addition to Messe Düsseldorf’s regional satellite events in Shanghai, Singapore, Mexico and the U.S., India is the fifth international location for the event. An advisory board with representatives from leading companies such as Reliance, Fluor, GNFC, Deepak Nitrite, Dorf Ketal Chemicals, Worley, Honeywell UOP, Mangalore Refinery, Topsoe, VA Tech Wabag, Petrofac, Technip, Air Products and ThyssenKrupp will provide technical support for the trade fair premiere.

About 80 international and Indian exhibitors will showcase the latest valves, actuators, positioners, seals, castings, components and accessories as well as solutions for valve testing and diagnostics during the two days of the trade fair. These include major industry players such as L&T Valves as a Platinum Partner and GM Engineering & Valve Tech Industries as a Gold Partner, supported by the Indian Valve and Actuator Manufacturers Association (IVAMA).

“We are delighted to bring Valve World Expo to India. The country’s dynamic industrial landscape opens up endless opportunities for the growth of the valve industry,” said Thomas Schlitt, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf India. “Valve World Expo India 2024 in Mumbai will provide an integrated platform for industry experts to explore the latest developments in valve technology and promote collaboration and knowledge sharing within the complex ecosystem of valve applications.”

Kay T. Creedon, CEO & Partner at Global Flow Control, is also confident of Valve World Expo India’s success: “The Indian valve industry is an integral part of the country's emerging industry and plays a pivotal role in a number of critical sectors, including power generation, water and wastewater treatment, oil and gas, and chemicals and petrochemicals. With a tradition spanning several decades, this sector has witnessed considerable growth and development over time. The Indian industrial valves market is forecast to reach an estimated value of $ 2.41 billion in 2024, with an expected increase to $3.38 billion by 2029. This is a unique opportunity to connect with the Indian valve industry.”

The extensive supporting and networking program will revolve around the topic of "Green Energy" and its challenges for the Indian industrial valve industry.
