Valve Magazine: Products https://www.valvemagazine.com/atom/products A collection of the most recent product announcements. Fri, 24 Apr 2026 00:00:00 -0400 Emerson Releases DeltaV Live Enterprise View Securely extends visibility of operator graphics across the enterprise.
Source: Emerson

The new software joins Emerson’s rapidly expanding edge application ecosystem and empowers engineering, maintenance, reliability and leadership teams with browser-based, read-only access to live plant displays – as operators see them – without requiring display conversion, additional engineering or changes to the control system.

Most enterprise visualization solutions require duplication, transformation or redesign of graphics. In contrast, DeltaV Live Enterprise View automatically renders graphics as they are configured in DeltaV Live, delivering instant, visible, role-based value. Enterprise users see what operators see, customized to their own needs, lowering friction and speeding adoption.

DeltaV Live Enterprise View’s secure, read-only visibility of operations is delivered via unidirectional data flow through the DeltaV Edge Environment. The DeltaV Edge Environment provides secure access to fully contextualized DeltaV data while maintaining proper system boundaries.  Emerson.com

Tue, 21 Apr 2026 00:00:00 -0400 Emerson's Top-Entry Cryo Valve Limits Leakage and Energy Loss The Fisher IC2 valve is ideal for cold box applications in hydrogen liquefaction and LNG production. The Fisher IC2 Cryogenic Top-Entry Control Valve, ideal for cold box applications in air separation units, hydrogen liquefaction and LNG production. The IC2 control valve meets the stringent demands of these extremely low-temperature environments, operating reliably at temperatures as low as -452 degrees Fahrenheit (-269 degrees Celsius).

Source: Emerson

The IC2 control valve includes cryogenic enhancements, including a narrow extension diameter and fluid baffle. These components work together to minimize heat conduction, reducing the energy required to maintain process fluid temperatures, while enhancing overall operational sustainability. The IC2 control valve’s Fisher enhanced Enviro-Seal packing system and bellows limit leakage to a maximum of 100 parts per million by volume, meeting or surpassing U.S. Environmental Protection Agency standards.

The Fisher IC2 control valve offers hardened trim materials, Enviro-Seal packing and metal-to-metal seating, and the top-entry makes maintenance easier and includes a single packing nut, a modular stem assembly, an independently replaceable bellows, and a replaceable valve plug and seat ring — with a special tool provided for seat ring removal.

The IC2 control valve is rated for the CL600 pressure class, and currently available from 1 to 4 inches (DN25 to DN100).

Tue, 31 Mar 2026 00:00:00 -0400 Velan Introduces Updated Isolation Valve for Refineries Upgraded design
Rendering of metal isolation valve with blue stem and flange connection for coker applications in refineries.
Source: Velan

Velan released a design upgrade to its delayed coker isolation valves that features targeted purging technology and other design upgrades. A newly added lower tangential purge directs steam precisely to areas where coke accumulates in stagnant cavities, creating a loop‑flow around the ball for improved cleaning efficiency with a nonplugging purge design. This field‑proven, targeted approach, combined with Velan’s one‑piece ball and stem, robust bellows and scraper‑type seats, delivers optimized purge performance, improved reliability and long‑term service life, helping refiners minimize fouling and simplify maintenance in severe coking service while maintaining very low steam consumption. velan.com

Rosemount Pressure Transmitter

The Rosemount 4051S Pressure Transmitter from Emerson offers the flexibility to meet the most demanding pressure measurement challenges by increasing performance and operational insights. It provides local real-time control and eliminates the need for a separate device, such as a programmable logic controller. This functionality is provided by two relay switches, each of which can be configured to provide on/off control of pumps, motors and other equipment. These switches can also provide alerts based on pressure, flow, totalized flow, level, volume or module temperature.

Source: Emerson

The transmitter is engineered to withstand the toughest processes and the harshest environments, with a 20-year warranty and 20-year stability specification, both unique to the pressure transmitter market. Fast response time of 40 milliseconds allows the 4051S to be used in the most demanding applications. A best-in-class 800:1 turndown ratio reduces the number of unique models needed to be kept in stock, streamlining inventory.

Advanced diagnostics provide more insights, with loop integrity continuously monitoring the health of the entire electrical loop to detect potential failures. The transmitter can also diagnose other abnormal conditions, such as cavitation, using its built-in process intelligence. Built-in calibration and diagnostic logs provide the information needed to optimize maintenance and perform root cause analysis.

Bluetooth connectivity from up to 50 feet (15 meters) away improves safety by allowing plant personnel to access the transmitter to avoid entering hazardous areas. emerson.com/Rosemount4051S
