COVID-19 Created Historic Drop in Energy Demand

A report from Deloitte says the pandemic has brought energy demand declines that "have no parallels," disrupting global finacial and commodity markets and challenging the U.S. oil and gas industry. Domestic gas demand fell 45% in April; jet fuel suffered from an 80% drop in flights from Jan. to Apr. The report presents trends that will set the ground for a challenging 2021 and a nascent recovery in the early to mid-2020s. MORE
