Universal Robots introduced the UR15 at Automate in Detroit. the new cobot is available now, and will begin shipping next month.

For pick-and-place applications, the UR15 delivers up to 30% cycle time improvements compared to previous models. It maintains a lightweight design and small footprint.

UR15 runs both PolyScope 5 and PolyScope X and is supercharged with AI. It has a payload of 33 lbs (15 kg) which can be increased for wrist-down orientations such as palletizing parts. 

The UR15 is ideal for harsh metal and machining environments, and offers improved ingress protection, IP65 and high payload capability.
