Crane ChemPharma and Energy Announces New Saunders Valves Facility

Crane ChemPharma and Energy, a business of Crane Co. announced a groundbreaking of its new Saunders factory in Cwmbran, UK. The event provided a preview of the new plant capabilities that will be completely dedicated to its Saunders products. The new building will enable significant lead-time advances and manufacturing excellence that reflects Crane Saunders’ commitment to Solving customers’ toughest challenges.

The new 100,000-sq-ft facility, which is planned to open in the fall of 2022, will manufacture Saunders HC4 and Saunders IDV ranges of aseptic and industrial diaphragm valves and related products and continue to meet the most stringent quality and product approvals.

The world-class facility will feature in house manufacturing of more core processes, high quality orbital welding and new levels of manufacturing automation. In addition, it will create new standards for safe and energizing office environments and include a number of energy-saving initiatives to support Sustainability.
