Types SRS and SRII silencer options are available for 1, 2, 3, 4, 6-inch (DN 25, 50, 80, 100, 150), as well as a new 8-inch (DN 200) size, opening a broader application range for this product family. Noise reduction of up to 20 dB(A) can be achieved, depending on the application. As a “source treatment”, Types SRS and SRII silencers utilize multiple orifices of special size, shape, and spacing, which reduce noise-producing interactions and offers a better alternative than path treatment or buried service. Units already installed can be easily retro-fitted with a Type SRII or Type SRS.
