Curtiss-Wright’s Brea, California facility has received ISO 19443:2018 certification, including Amendment 1:2024, for its quality management system. This certification further strengthens the facility’s ability to provide products and services important to nuclear safety (ITNS), such as critical service valves, actuators and integrated component engineering services for advanced reactor (AR) designs and other nuclear applications adopting ISO-based quality standards.

This achievement builds upon the Brea facility's ISO 9001:2015 certification in 2023. It establishes additional nuclear-specific quality management practices designed to ensure the highest levels of safety, reliability and traceability across the nuclear supply chain.

“Achieving ISO 19443 certification is an important milestone for our operation and reflects our ongoing commitment to the highest standards of quality and nuclear safety,” said Scott Lustyk, vice president and general manager, Curtiss-Wright Nuclear’s Brea facility. “This certification reinforces our role as a trusted supplier to the global nuclear industry."
