Flowserve’s new DiamondBack trim offers control valve cavitation elimination with a focus on performance, efficiency and versatility. Utilizing unique pressure drop mechanisms, staged pressure drops eliminate cavitation by maintaining fluid pressure above the vapor pressure, never allowing cavitation to form. With optional tungsten carbide trims, both cavitation and erosion can be controlled. DiamondBack trim is available with linear, bi-linear, tri-linear and true equal percent trims, improving valve rangeability, which allows the valve to maintain control over a wider range of flow conditions.
