Valve World Expo Opens Third Exhibit Hall
Valve World Expo, the 9th Biennial Valve World Conference & Exhibition, Dec. 2-4, 2014 in Düsseldorf, Germany, has grown significantly since the event moved to that location.

The Valve Manufacturers Association will co-host a booth at the 2014 Valve World Expo, sharing space with the British Valve & Actuator Association, along with several member companies from each of the two associations.
The Expo, which is the world’s leading trade fair for industrial valves, also has seen constant growth in attendance with more than 10,500 visitors from 57 countries at the last event in 2012. Over 70% of them came from abroad with heavy representation from Netherlands, Italy, United Kingdom, France, Belgium and Spain. Trade visitors also came to Düsseldorf from as far away as India, China and the U.S.
A visit to the expo’s three halls will involve walking down multiple aisles of plant equipment and machinery, components and systems with the valves that serve as the interface for upstream and downstream technologies—the star of the show. Conference seminars, workshops and lectures go into great depth about valve applications and innovative solutions to different challenges in the process industries. Topics, which range from emissions, seals and casting to standardizations, materials, testing and new designs, combine theory with practice.
Valve World Expo, which is organized by Messe Düsseldorf and KCI Publishing B.V., is part of a global line-up of flow-technology trade fairs that also encompasses international spin-off events in China (Valve World Expo Asia) and the U.S. (Valve World Expo Americas). It is designed to be synergistic with other types of machinery and equipment events including the International Tube Trade Fair, GIFA – International Foundry Trade Fair, METEC – International Metallurgical Technology Trade Fair, THERMPROCESS – International Trade Fair for Thermal Process Engineering and NEWCAST – International Castings Trade Fair. Valves are key components in all these segments.
Valve World Expo and the Pump Summit trade fairs and seminars are designed to appeal to end-user market professionals in fields such as water and wastewater; building services; food and beverage; mining; petrochemicals; oil and gas; energy generation; the pharmaceutical industry; shipbuilding; paper and pulp; and engineering and contracting.
